Hey there!

My name is Catherine Haynes, and I am a recent graduate of Auburn University with a BA in Journalism and a minor in Honors Business. Born and raised on a couple hundred acres of land in a small town in Northeast Alabama, I’ve always loved to explore the world around me and the people that inhabit it. My sense of curiosity and creativity is what led me to discover my profound passion for writing and storytelling at a young age. With each word I weave, I aim to captivate and inspire others, and I’ve been given incredible opportunities to do so in publications such as Auburn Magazine, Covey Rise Magazine, and Bourbon+ Magazine. By embracing these experiences, I have nurtured my personal growth, fostering empathy, and a deep appreciation for the richness of human connection. Whether through my writing or my interactions with others, I strive to make a positive impact, igniting a spark of inspiration in those around me. With every passing day, I am grateful for the opportunities to learn, create, and share my voice with the world, and I can’t wait to see what adventures writing and storytelling will take me on next!
